What remains accessible without network
Once opened online, your cards, lists and calendar stay readable offline (on the subway, on a plane, in a dead zone). A small red icon in the top bar shows you're offline, and tapping it explains what's going on. The app is never blocked.
Reminders still ring: they are set as alarms on the phone.
What you do offline goes out on its own when the network is back
In the shop's basement, you check off your shopping list, even a shared one. On the train, you fix one card, archive another, delete a third, and add Sunday's recipe to your favourites. Everything is kept on the phone and sent as soon as the network is back.
An appointment created with the calendar form waits the same way, and shows up in your calendar right away. No need to reopen the app: if it's closed when the connection comes back, the phone sends what was waiting on its own.
A message typed to XNeuronal during the outage goes out as soon as the app is back online, and the reply arrives then. If the server refuses a change, the card goes back to how it was rather than letting you think it's done.
An honest limit: voice conversation needs network
Speaking aloud with XNeuronal requires a connection, like any conversation that needs real-time responses. Offline, the microphone is turned off so you're not left talking into the void; the text button stays available.
What offline mode guarantees is that you never lose access to what you've already saved, nor what you do while waiting for the network.
